| Here
is the completion of the station, ready for the show. We put plates
around it, along with the canopy, and did some minor landscaping, to
give it a better feel. |
 |
| Here
is the canopy, you can see the spanning across 2 plates, as well as the
flowers, the trees, and the sidewalks. We used some unusual road plates
to complete the canopy, but just made custom roads for the next version.
The gray 2x2 round tiles were for covering up the bottom of the bricks,
I did not like the look of this too much. The pile of 9V batteries are rechargeable, for the upcoming show. You can also see the roof,
Tony redid it all, to be more stable, and came out better. however, it
was complex, and I had a hard time putting it together. I changed it for
the next show in July. |
 |
| Here
is a detail shot, a bunch of LEGO rail people walking the grounds. you
can see the guard booth here (Pre-caution, especially after 9/11) and
some of the detailing of the sides, with hills, and trees, and the
lights. You can see a little of the tiling inside. |
 |
| Here
is another shot of the detailing, on the back of the station,
where the trains enter and exit. You can see also the walkway between
the front and the back, the windows, and the garage doors. |
 |
| Oh,
this is a nice shot, the detailing of the road going back into the
station, you can see the lights, the ones being worked on in the back,
the guard booth, some more details, and our cutoff of the road. :
