"Big Red" Train Station Building Session - Tony's Fundraiser - November 10th & 11th, 2001
This was a fundraiser for the Youth Retreat for one of our member's churches, Tony Hedglen, so they could raise some funds for their various activities and the like. We set up on Friday afternoon and on Saturday, while the majority of traffic was Sunday Morning and afternoon. We were fortunate enough to stay at the retreat place, and had a great time that weekend.

| This is the downtown section, you can see the train station on the left here. It was an afterthought, since we really did not plan a layout, we just brought what we had and put it together | Here is a shot of the train station in the downtown area, you can see the road running right next to it, which was a result of the tables, etc. | Here is a shot of Larry P.'s great looking streetcars and his variation of a bullet train made from a 4561. Nice to see parked near the station! | Here is the train station, conveniently located right next to the airport. Great transportation or center of disaster? You decide! |

| Another shot of the station with the monorail running into it. Kai Brodersen is in the background running the trains. . | Here is a shot of the backside of the station. | Here is another back shot, closer. You can see how the windows and how they are placed. | Interesting picture! Tony is working on the roof, I had some trouble with it, since it was his design! You can see Kai gazing longingly at the door, wishing he would have as many 1x4x3 windows as I have! ; ) In the background, you can see a table with the various vehicles we pulled out for the display. |

| Here is a good shot of the station, with the roof removed. You can see we did not get to the interior! : ) | Here is a good shot of the back of the station, with Larry's trains and another coming into view. The roof has been added in this shot. | Here is a shot of the monorail and the airport again. | I
like this shot, it is the roof, and a good overall shot of the station.
