EVENTS TRAIN STATION WAS IN:

Great American Train Show - Novi, Michigan - January 2002

This is the first official show the train station was at, and it was the biggest display MichLUG / MichLTC has ever attempted. It was a whopping 20x60, complete with a kids building area, demonstrations, etc. It was a fun time, but it was a hard show. We had 3 / 4 people crowding around the tables at all times, along with a lot of setup problems. The tables we used were from the show itself, and they were not even, so I had a lot of problems with the station. We learned a lot from this show, and did a lot between this show and the next in July of 2002.

This is the shot that caused me to build a solid foundation for my train station. You can see the crack caused by the tables and their unevenness. This is a great shot of the canopy.
