TPA History Pages
The TPA is one of the newest members of the Alliance of Planets, where the last remnants of the once great Terran society now reside. After the end of the Exodus war, the TPA continues to admit several former Terrans, who have been either held in slavery, in prison camps, or have been in hiding or on the run. Here is a history, with the main focus on Titanian 6, the planet where the first activities took place.

Terra,
Alliance of Planets Headquarters, Colony Affairs Office
Today, the Alliance of Planets
approved a colony charter to the BioTech Corporation, to begin develop the newly
discovered M-Class planet, the 6th planet of the Titanian system,
named Titanian 6. In conjunction with the UEADF, plans are scheduled to deploy
the TERRAFORMING project, developed by Biotech, to the new planet. The
TERRAFORMING Project is developed to make the planet sustainable, with plants,
organisms, etc. to make farming and human life prosper. Since Titanian 6 is
rated at 92% already, it will be an ideal planet to work with, and only second
compared to Borian 4, which had a rating of 93.8%. A Fleet of UEADF and BioTech ships is planned to launch from
the Moon shipyards within two months. A crew of 150 has been assigned to this
project.

TITAN CITY ELECTIONS RESULTS
The first elections in Titan
City have elected three members to the Government Council, which is standard for
all new colonies until it reaches certain population criteria, established in
the colony charter. The following people were elected:
Head of Council: Larry
McNichols
Council Members: Gary Hughes,
Barbara Dannins
Their term of service will be
up in 6 years, when the government moves to New Dallas.
Head of the Titan City
Council, Larry McNichols, announced he would make sure the transition to New
Dallas would go as smoothly as possible. The first issues the council will
address are proper resource distribution and possible expansion of the power
grid.
The current heads of the
ADFCS will remain, until the Titanian 6 population warrants new elections. As
for the new ADF Admiral, ADF reports they are still searching for a new
candidate. Captain Michael Pherson turned down the offer at this time, he
indicated he wished to captain a ship rather than be promoted. Several
candidates are being interviewed now, but the ADF concluded that it might be
some time.

NEW C-90001 FUSION REACTORS TO
BE INSTALLED FOR TITANIAN 6
As final preparations are
taking place to get New Dallas up and running for next years arrival of BioTech
and their workers, the BioTech Corporation have commissioned Planetary
Engineering Power Division to design an underground power station, near Titan
City. The new facility will feature 10 of the new Feizer C-90001 series Fusion
Reactors, capable of producing over 10,000 TW. “This new facility should be
able to serve New Dallas for the next 20-40 years, depending on the growth. The
facility will be able to house up to 15 Fusion reactors,” said Project
Engineer Garrick Montouri, who is heading up the New Dallas project.
Construction has already begun, and it should be completed within the next 4
months.

NEW ADMIRAL ASSIGNED TO
TITANIAN 6 AFTER YEARS OF DELAY
The ADF has finally announced
a new Admiral to head the Titanian 6 ADF facility. Captain Scott Edward Sanburn
the 4th, recently promoted to Admiral Status from being the Captain
of the ADF-5023, the Falcon, has
announced he will be headed to the Titanian System shortly. “It is an honor to
be able to take up a new facility on the very frontiers of the AP territory, and
I will serve all the AP citizens a best as I can.”
Admiral Scott Sanburn
has had a distinguished military career, serving in the UEADF (ADF), having
joined when he was 18, who originally lived in the Lunar City of Armstrong. He
served in the Unitronian uprising, when the Unitronian government was under
assault, and achieved the ranks of Lieutenant and Lieutenant Commander. He has
received to ADF Medals of Honor for going above the call of duty in several
occasions to save both civilians and ADF and Unitronian forces personnel. He has
been commended also the General Commander of the ADF, William Stevens, for his
duty to the ADF and the AP. He has also led negotiations to various members of
the AP and disgruntled factions in various incidents.
The ADF has put
temporary Admirals in the Titanian 6 for the past few years, because of the
shortage of qualified personnel. However, with the arrival of Admiral Sanburn,
the ADF is satisfied. The arrival of the temporary space station, named
ADF-T9031, will be operational within a week, with the arrival of Admiral
Sanburn, will complete the ADF plans for the area until the moving of facilities
to New Dallas.

COUNCIL REELECTED TO SECOND
TERM AS ADF ANNOUNCES NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR TITAN CITY AND NEW DALLAS
In a press conference,
the Titan City Council has been elected to head the New Dallas Council, as the
first arrivals to New Dallas are expected to leave within three months. Larry
McNichols, head of the council, was happy with the election.
“Barbara, Gary, and I are privileged to be able to serve the Titanian 6
residents once again. We will do our best to make sure this transition goes
smoothly. He also announced that the first technicians are busy setting up the
computer system for the government building, as well as transferring the data
from Titan City servers to the New Dallas servers. That should be completed within two weeks.
Admiral Scott Edward
Sanburn also announced a new joint development of a radical new technology
between the M-Tron Republic and the Alliance Defense Force, developed to protect
land based facilities, codenamed the EMMDBSS (Electro-Magnetic Multi-Dimensional
Bubble Shielding System), or the AP-1 Shielding system. “It works similar to
the shielding systems on our current starships,” he commented. “It will have
several shield generators around the city, that connect with a central antenna
station, that will provide a very strong defensive shielding, that will include
basically destroying incoming laser beams and missiles, and ships from coming
in. According to the M-Tron tests, it fries any electronic devices, making them
unusable, due to the shield frequency generators. Unfortunately, it also eats a
tremendous power to operate, close to the output of 2 C-900001 Fusion
Generators. If successful, most outlying AP facilities will be equipping this
technology. The first AP-1 will be tested for Titan City, and new generators
will be available for New Dallas within 1 year.”
This project was
designed by the noted M-Tron engineer, Dr. Judaz Bennrier, who has been the head
developer of most of the M-Tronian shield generation systems and their
electro-magnetic power systems. Dr. Bennrier will be in Titan City for the setup
and operations, which will conclude by the end of July next year.

TESTING SUCCESSFUL FOR POWER
ON SHIELDING SYSTEM, NEW 9031 TACTICAL FLEETS 1,2, AND 3 ARRIVE FOR ADF REINFORCEMENTS
Dr. Bennrier, noted M-Tronian
engineer, has announced that the first power up of the AP-1 Shielding system was
a success. “We now know the power grid is stable, and that the final
components of the shielding system can be installed safely. The enormous amount
of power was a concern, even if the specs on the equipment said it can hold
it.” The first full shield will begin in a couple of months.
Also, the first
reinforcements of the ADF in years have arrived in preparation of the new
population of New Dallas. “The 9031st 1st, 2nd,
and 3rd Tactical Fleet will reinforce the existing 2311th
Colony Support Division, and they will eventually go back. This will make a
total of 7,000 ADF personnel in Titan City, as well as another 3,000 civilian
support crew. Our facilities are pretty maxed out now, but the completion of the
underground base will help tremendously, as well as the underground hanger.”

SHIELD TESTING AND FINAL
CHECKS COMPLETE, AP OFFICIALS VISIT FOR DEMONSTRATION
The first successful
demonstration of the AP-1 Shielding system ran last evening, much to the delight
of various officials of the AP and other members who were on hand. Dr. Bennrier,
Admiral Scott Sanburn, and the Titan City / New Dallas Council were watching as
the shielding system came on line, giving the dark blue sky a strange shimmer.
The main demonstration was when a ADF-800 ship firing full to the top of the
shield, with no penetration, as well as other ADF equipment doing various
testing. Another ADF-800 ship carried a non-functional nuclear missile that was
dropped on the shield, which basically evaporated after the bouncing off the
shield, rolling down the side.
“We are ecstatic about
this development,” said General Commander of the ADF William Stevens. “This
is just the thing we need to protect our citizens and soldiers lives.” Other
officials were optimistic about the technology, which will be available after a
few more tests. “We will be looking at deploying this technology to all AP
members.”

SHIELD INTEGRATED AND ONLINE
FOR TITAN CITY USE – NEW DALLAS SHIELD SYSTEMS TO BE SHIPPED WITH ONCOMING
COLONY SETTLERS
The ADF announced that
the Titan City Shield is now online and ready to be activated according to the
Planetary Warning System, part of the colony charter. The shield will be using
two of the ten Fusion Generators, while New Dallas and Titan City use the other
6, with 2 being held for reserve until another batch comes. “We had no idea
how much power the shield system would be actually using, it is a little more
than we estimated,” commented Captain George Henningtons, Head Engineer of ADF
Operations & Facility Management. “Once another two generators are
installed, we should be fine.”
Also, the final
preparations for the first New Dallas colonists are being completed, as they are
getting ready for departure, where one group of the more than 50 colony and
supply ships will depart for the Titanian system, and will join a group of ships
stationed near the Mars Fleet Yards. “The ships will be leaving on August 23rd,
and arrive within two weeks. We are excited to welcome them, and to move into a
modern, efficient 24th century city, rather than the colony setup
city, which has served it’s purpose well, and will continue to so for the
ADF,” said Admiral Scott Sanburn.

TERRAN SYSTEM ATTACKED BY
BLACKIS FORCES, TITAN CITY & NEW DALLAS BOMBED
In a stunning move, forces,
formally from the Blackis colony, have attacked and taken over the Terran
system. We have lost all contact with the Terran system, it looks like the
entire UEADF communication system has been destroyed. A fighter of unknown
origin, presumably from the Blackis system, has dropped two large scale bombs on
Titan City and on New Dallas. The new AP-1 shield system worked beautifully, as
the bomb evaporated on the shield. The bomb on New Dallas did a significant
amount of damage to the center of the city, but most of the surrounding city
survived. The Titan City ADFCS Fire Department responded, and ended the fires
that sprung up in the aftermath in New Dallas. All residents of New Dallas are
being transported to Titan City, mostly using the underground utility tunnels
that run in between the two cities. The New Dallas City Council has voted to
abandon New Dallas until such time as the shielding system can be installed.
In an emergency meeting of the
ADF forces on Titan City, Admiral Scott Sanburn has been promoted to General
Commander of the remaining ADF forces. General Commander Scott Sanburn commented
on the recent attack, "I can’t believe what happened. I do remember the
exile of the Blackis population, as any citizen of the UEA would know, but if
this is the Blackis people, they have struck us a major blow, and as General
Commander of the ADF, I vow to defend everyone as best I can. I thank God for
the shielding system, for we would have been dead otherwise. I will try to keep
all of you informed, but I am extremely busy at the moment.”
Fortunately,
communications are still there for other members of the AP to Titan City. An
emergency AP meeting on the planet of M-Tronia has resulted in a formal
declaration of war on the Blackis invaders. “Anyone attacking any member of
the Alliance of Planets had better be ready for the consequences,” mentioned
Stan Regan, ambassador of the UEA to M-Tronia. “We are forming plans now to
try to drive the Blackis back. The other AP members have volunteered various
forces to try to shore up the Titanian System.
