THE VARIOUS LOCATIONS OF THE BRICK BEAR'S DEN:
Over the course of my life, my LEGO areas have been scattered throughout various dwellings, here is a list I have compiled, with various links and the like if I have pictures.
| 1975-1986 | Most of my early childhood, I had an ever expanding LEGO collection, but for the most part, it was mostly stored in a few containers, whether it be my room or elsewhere. Then, it wasn't as much a space eater. : ) |
| 1986-1993 | My parents got divorced in 1986, so my mom and my new step-dad bought a house in Flushing, Michigan, where I grew up. My collection was still growing, and I had a few places throughout this house, namely my room, the second bedroom at times, and the attic. |
| 1993-1994 | I went to the Ohio State University for a year, before my dad disappeared, and I had brought some of my collection with me, the rest being in storage up in Flushing. I had my own little area, in both of our apartments. After he disappeared, I came back to Flushing. |
| 1994-1998 | I finished up my college career, and did not have a lot of time for LEGO. I bought a lot of sets in this period, depending on if I liked them or not, but I did get the majority of space and town sets, plus some train ones as well. My LEGO area continued to be the attic for storage, and a few sporadic building sessions in my room. |
| 1998-2001 | In 1998, I got a new job in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and eventually decided to move closer there. the 1 Hour 10 Minute commute was horrid. My future brother in law, Dave, my co-worker Tony, and myself ended up buying a nice condo in Ypsilanti, right next to Ann Arbor. I have add various places for my LEGO items, but the fact I was working 2-4 jobs made LEGO related activities few and far between. Hit the link on the left for info. . |
| 2001 and Beyond.... | In 2001, my wife got a job at Osco Pharmacy, located in South Bend, Indiana, as it was an offer she could not refuse. We moved down here in April, 2001, and settled in Castle Point Apartments. However, my wife's disapproval soon made us get a new house. I finally got a basement! : ) Hit the link on the left for more info! |
