This
is my 1995 Chevrolet S-10. I got this after my 1987 Old's Calais engine and
transmission died within 2 months of each other. I had this from October
of 1994 until the Summer of 1998. This truck has seen a lot, from
hitting a deer, getting in the ditch in the middle of Shiawassee County
to getting stuck in snowstorms in Ann Arbor. My nickname for this
vehicle was everything from the U.S.S. Newt Gingrich to the
Galaxy. |

Some
of my stickers in my more "vocal" days. : ) |

This
is my 1999 Chevrolet Suburban. When I was looking for a new vehicle, I
was looking for something bigger than a S-10, since I am a big guy to
begin with, and looking for something with enough room to take a lot of
stuff to LEGO gatherings, etc. This is probably my favorite vehicle I
ever had. I loved the power, all the options I ever wanted on a vehicle,
a great price, thanks to my uncle in law and my GM discount due to the
engineering firm I was working for at the time. I traded it in
2001 after several discussions with the lovely and gracious Lynn, and I
still regret it til this day. I named the Suburban the U.S.S. Phantom,
after SW: EP 1 and because it was black. |

I
got a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer next, from a local Chevrolet dealer
here in Michiana. It was not a good transition, and I was unhappy with
it. As my uncle said, you went from a Suburban to a Trailblazer? I traded this in January of 2003. I named this the
U.S.S. Patriot, in honor of the fallen in the horrible incidents of
September 11th. |

Here
is a sideshot of the Trailblazer, I was at the Elkhart Post Office when
I took these pictures. |

Ah,
now this is more like it. This is a Chevrolet Tahoe 2003. It has
all the stuff I wanted, and it is big, and black, and it is just right.
I drove through a snowstorm in Chicago all the way up to Wisconsin to pick
this baby up, but it was worth every mile. : ) I am still thinking of a
name, right now it is the Tahoe Terror. |
